Welcome to the Department of Political Science!
|
You have chosen to major
in a discipline that encourages you to think deeply about the world
from Atlantic City to Seattle, from Perth to Paris. You will encounter
everything from philosophic treatises to survey data in your quest to
understand how human beings govern themselves. You will also be given
opportunities to experience politics in some personal way, perhaps through
an internship in Washington, D.C., or a study abroad program in a far
off country. Put all this together and you have a challenging major
that incorporates the best of the liberal arts.
