2010 Fact Sheet

Participants of the Brussels Internship Program arrive in Brussels in late August. These participants are usually majors from Political Science, Communications, History, Accounting, Asian Studies, Economics, French, and Business Administration though all majors are accepted.

Each participant engages in an internship secured through Educationl Programmes Abroad Inc. The hosts of these internships range from the European Parliament and Think Tanks and students with a background in French can participate in Advertising or Public Relation companies.

Students also register for two courses at Vesalius College (most of which can count as transfer credits) and take a third course from the leading faculty member on the trip. Students are elligible to receive course credit for their internship (for more information, check with your major department) for a possible total of 4 course (16 hour) credits. This program satisfies the department engaged learning requirement.

Applications for the 2010 program are due December 17, 2009. If you are interested in applying for the 2010 program, please contact Dr. Bruce Brown.
