  Washington, D.C.
Work for a congressman, intern on capital hill, and rub elbows with Washington elite. The DC program lets you do it all while still earning course credit.
     
     
  Brussels, Belgium
Travel to the capital of the European Union and work for the European Parliament, Research Institutions or Think Tanks, Peace and Conflict Resolution Organizations, NGO's and Pressure Groups, etc. You will also complete course work at Vesalius College and with the trip's lead ing faculty member.
       
  Canadian Parliament
Spend 5 weeks comparing US and Canadian political climates with an internship at the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, Ontario.
     
  Upstate Public Affairs
Interested in working for city or county government, a non-profit organization, local media outlets, private organizations that have significant business in the public sector, or a public interest law firm? The Upstate Public Affairs Program allows you to explore how your Furman course work applies to the real-world. Participation in this internship program provides students with a comprehensive view of local policymaking.
