David Fleming teaches courses in American
politics, political analysis, and public policy. He received his
B.A. in political science from the University of Notre Dame, and
his M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison.
His research is focused on education
policy. In his dissertation, he examined the effects of school
vouchers on recipients’ political participation and attitudes.
He is currently participating in the School Choice Demonstration
Project’s evaluation of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.
