Dream Achiever Dr. Liz Smith to be honored at a luncheon by Greenville YWCA |
Dr. Elizabeth Smith was nominated and selected as a 2007 Dream Achiever by the YWCA of Greenville. The Dream Achiever award recognizes ordinary women who have achieved the extraordinary – women who make a difference within the scope of their ability and whose work has in some way changed or improved the lives of others. The award is given to honor the legacy of Amy Kay Stubbs, an architect, wife, mother and community activist who died at the age of 37 while awaiting a liver transplant. Lisa Colby nominated Liz for her expertise, skill sets and accomplishments. It is believed that these qualities will help other women achieve the goals that Liz has achieved with her help in assisting the YW through coaching, mentoring, sponsorship and encouragement. Liz will be publicly
recognized as a 2007 Dream Achiever at the Fourth Annual Amy Kay Stubbs
Women of Achievement Award dinner on February 20, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
at the Palmetto Expo.
